Care instructions: These are made from poplar, one of the softer hardwoods, so if used for more than to display food, in order to maintain its peak condition, we recommend a light sanding (220 grit or higher sandpaper) and a foodsafe mineral oil treatment to be applied to the wood surface every 10 or so uses. Hand wash with soap and water, do not put in the dishwasher.
These charcuterie boards are made out of materials from The Public Theatre in downtown NYC. This historic theatre is known for being a launchpad for great Broadway plays and musicals, like Hamilton - and most recently, Alicia Key's new musical: Hell's Kitchen. The legacy of this material's past has been memorialized in the embedded brad nails and old screw holes.
