MEET THE TEAM
Vice President and Designer
Karly Camerer
"I'm Karly Camerer, MDes, from Cincinnati and I've been a part of the technical theatre community for over 5 years as a Scenic Artist, Designer, and Props Artisan.
Having been morally conflicted with working in the entertainment industry, knowing that there was no system in place to make it sustainable or environmentally friendly, I was thrilled, no relieved, to be a part of Final Strike Collaborative and its pursuit to make the industry kinder to our planet. When I'm not helping cultivate FSC's team visions for the future, establishing our brand, or any other design needs, you can find me working on my other passion project in life, helping caregivers of those living with Alzheimer's."
Director of Grant Writing and Philanthropy
Maddie Thompson
“Hi! I’m Maddie Thompson (she/her), and I’m from Hamilton, Ohio. I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s in English literature and studio art at Centre College, where I work in the theater’s scene shop. I feel very blessed to be a part of Final Strike’s amazing team and to pursue sustainability in the entertainment industry. Stories are so important to me, so preserving the ability for later generations to share them is such a wonderful, necessary cause. I’m pretty sure there’s nothing better than a good book, though some competitors would be drawing, writing, going for long runs, and my hound dog, Gus.”
Director of Art & Media
Eliana Estevez
"Hi there, I'm Eliana, navigating the college scene at Pace University with a major in Production and Design and a minor in Digital Media Studies. I started my journey with Final Strike Collaborative as a summer intern and couldn't be happier to continue on their team, capturing all the incredible work we do through the lens of media production.
Beyond the academic hustle, I've got a soft spot for cinematography and film studies, finding inspiration in every frame. But it's not all about pixels and screens – I've got a passion for thrifting and the thrill of discovering second-hand gems.
When I'm not immersed in the world of storytelling, you'll catch me at Gilgo Beach, Long Island, soaking up the sun and embracing the beach vibes."
Director of Task and Resource Coordination
Eric Camerer
Hi, I'm Eric Camerer—a bit of an all-rounder with a mix of studies in Business Administration, Management, and Software Development. My journey with Final Strike kicked off right from the start, first as Treasurer and now as the Task and Resource Coordinator. It's been a fitting evolution, letting me dive into our goals and work with a bunch of awesome people who share my passion for making things better.
In addition to my administrative roles, my now decade-long association with the theater industry reflects my love for the arts and community enhancement. I find joy in contributing to initiatives that make our world cleaner and collaborating with like-minded individuals at Final Strike who share my enthusiasm for positive change."
FINAL STRIKE VOLUNTEERS
Director of Logistics Coordination
Andrew Robertson
"I'm Andrew Robertson, an actor, writer, and amateur musician, and I am currently a stagehand at NBC. After stepping away from theatre work, I began to question the ethical standards and norms that persist in the entertainment industry today. Sustainability is an issue that goes hand-in-hand with others like workers' rights and equitable access. Final Strike's mission is a positive and holistic one, and I'm honored to be a member of the team. In my spare time, I enjoy good beer, trips with high adventure, and all things media!"

Founder and President
Laicey Gibby-Brown
"Hi, my name is Laicey. I am the Founder, President, and a Creation Specialist at Final Strike Collaborative. I started Final Strike because I could no longer bear participating in the extreme amount of waste my job required as a theatrical carpenter and stagehand in NYC - I needed to do something to change it! Now, I am thrilled I get to work in a creative environment that cares about the earth’s environment. Some small details to get to know me: I ramble in my storytelling, and eat way too much sugar on a daily basis. I love wordplay, sleeping in, and stargazing. I enjoy experimenting with new materials, which really lends to the craft of Final Strike’s Mission. I get a thrill out of every single project I work on and I’m so happy to be doing what I do!"

Secretary & Production Manager
Josh Leslierandal
"Josh Leslierandal - He/Him - (Production Manager and Secretary of the Board) is your friendly neighbor-hood nerdy social activist. While he is new to bio writing game, he thoroughly enjoys speaking in the third person. Born and raised in the great city of New York, he was drawn to the arts world at a young age. Through his many different phases of careers so far in the theater and dance world, the thing that ties it all together are his management and organization skills. Josh is very passionate about helping to push the momentum and standards that FSC is setting in order to make the theater industry, as well as the world, that much more green."
